written as a high speed coke induced thriller we accompany kube through the nights of warsaw. and we see him failing, control is running through hands. the hidden protagonist is the post post communist era city and their dodgy night clubs, dubious streets and of course many of their shady residents.

now a tv show on HBO this book gets us a good impression of the dark side of cities, the crimes that happen in secret after we went to bed.
