Der Schauspieler Peter Stormare ist übrigens Schwede und spielte schon in The Big Lebowski einen Deutschen.

das bild wurde im juli 1953 aufgenommen. wir sehen ostdeutsche, die im nachkriegsberlin in den westteil pilgern, um sich klamotten und essen zu besorgen. bemerkenswert übrigens der ebene und gepflegte gehweg! ganz ohne hundehaufen.

das LIFE magazine hatte immer die besten fotografen in der ganzen welt. die fotos sind dokumente der zeitgeschichte und zählen bis heute zu den großartigsten reportagebildern überhaupt. um so erstaunlicher also die meldung, dass diese bilder nun per google-bildersuche verfügbar sind. stichwort eingeben und source:life dahinter – fertig! oder hier klicken und stöbern. und das beste:

eine suche danach brachte erstaunlicherweise nix. im original heißt der punkt Track Links’ Update Times und in der beschreibung steht dazu:

“Check this checkbox to activate WordPress’ link tracking feature. Blogs owners can report to some central location when they have updated their site. WordPress can do this automatically for you (see Update Services). WordPress can then compare your links, (Administration > Manage > Links) with this central location to determine if any of your links have been recently updated.”

wenn ich das richtig verstehe, geht es nur um die links in der blogroll und so, nicht aber um die in einzelnen seiten oder artikeln, richtig? wenn jemand mehr weiß, soll er es sagen per kommentar, ich habe das jetzt mal eingeschalten und werde sehen, was passiert.

das plugin Broken Link Checker habe ich erst kürzlich eingebaut. es läuft im hintergrund und scannt alte postings nach defekten links und graut diese auf wunsch aus. läuft wunderbar und ist immer aktuell. kann ich nur empfehlen.

]]> http://pixelroiber.de/blog/205/feed 0 gewichtelt http://pixelroiber.de/blog/97 http://pixelroiber.de/blog/97#comments Wed, 06 Dec 2006 18:56:33 +0000 Carsten http://pixelroiber.de/blog/?p=97 it’s chitime. heute im briefkasten: das langersehnte wichtelgeschenk. auf dem schnöden braunen umschlag warnte noch der hinweis, dass da ganz viel arbeit drinsteckt. und tatsächlich: die ganze konstruktion erinnerte mich an eins meiner lieblingsbücher, die details sind noch bemerkenswerter: eine interessante fotografie von ihr, eine simple zeichnung von 3 rooosen, der schon 2001 im zusammenhang mit weihnachten auffiel, dazu aufklärungshinweise und gedichte. sehr schön das alles. schmückt jetzt mein zimmer und erinnert mich, dass im netz auch noch menschen unterwegs sind. habt einen schönen rest-nikolaus und danke an die unbekannte wichtlerin und danke auch an chikatze, die das ganze organisiert hat!
