never read such a detailed nerdy story before. astronaut mark watney is lost on mars and now he has to survive. almost the entire book is written in log entries in offensive language but also with a bunch of technical and nerdy stuff. imagine the process of creating water from a scratch or planting potatoes in a tiny hab on a planet without any track of life or just to set up some communication. once the NASA gets scent of someone is left on mars they concentrate all ressources and energy to save him – this kind of humanity is the real fiction in my guess, some kind of hollywood-esque story telling which is not realistic. but who knows? perhaps in near future we will be more emphatically than today.
